Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These terms govern your use of See You in Paradise (“the Service”), a tool for creating and hosting memorial websites. By using the Service you agree to them. Please read them with care.
1. Using the Service
You may use the Service to create a respectful memorial for a real person, or to plan one in advance. You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive, or that infringes someone else’s rights. We may review, hold, or remove content that does not belong on a family memorial.
2. Your content
You keep ownership of the words, photos, and other content you add. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, display, translate, and deliver that content as part of running your memorial. You are responsible for having the right to share what you upload, including photographs of others.
3. Moderation
Visitor messages and photos are screened by automated safety review before they appear, and the memorial’s owner can approve or remove anything. Automated review is not perfect; the owner remains responsible for what is published on their memorial.
4. Payments
Memorial plans are a one-time payment, and any optional care plan or add-ons are shown before purchase. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card details. Because memorials are prepared and hosted for you, refunds are handled case by case — contact us and we will be fair.
5. Availability
We work to keep memorials online and cared for, but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses. We may update or discontinue features; if we ever wind down a service, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your content.
6. Independence
See You in Paradise is an independent product and is not an official website of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be noted here. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
